As one of the UK’s largest Bird of Prey centres, Eagle Heights offers dedicated individuals the chance to contribute meaningfully to wildlife conservation and education. Our small team of volunteers plays a vital role in supporting our mission to protect and preserve wildlife for future generations.
Volunteering at Eagle Heights provides invaluable industry experience. You’ll gain hands-on wildlife care skills, develop public engagement abilities, and build professional connections within the conservation sector. Our long-term volunteers receive detailed references and benefit from working alongside experienced wildlife professionals in one of the UK’s largest Bird of Prey centres.
Our volunteer positions are designed for long-term commitment rather than short-term work experience. All roles are unpaid but offer comprehensive training in wildlife care and sanctuary operations. The work is physically demanding and takes place outdoors in all weather conditions, requiring dedication and resilience from our volunteers.
To apply for a volunteer position, please complete this volunteering application form and we will be in touch!
While we keep our volunteer team small to ensure quality experiences, we’re always interested in hearing from passionate individuals who share our commitment to wildlife conservation.
Eagle Heights proudly houses an extraordinary collection of over 30 majestic species. Beyond our renowned avian residents, we’ve evolved into a diverse wildlife haven, where you can encounter everything from playful Meerkats and graceful Servals to an array of fascinating mammals and exotic birds – each with their own unique story to tell.
