Conservation Abroad

Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation are pleased to be assisting various conservation efforts across the World.

Whether it is fundraising for worthwhile projects, offering advice and consultation on matters abroad or even physically implementing our conservation work in different countries, we are constantly working behind the scenes to ensure we do our bit for Wildlife.

Baboon Trans-Location

In 2016 we assisted both physically and financially with a Baboon Translocation Project in The Gambia, West Africa. A troop of Baboons, all rescued and rehabilitated, were able to be released into freedom after years of living at an Animal Orphanage. The report, by Mr Mawdo Jallow who headed the project, is available for you to read below

Green turtle project

In November 2016, Eagle Heights Directors visited a Green Turtle Project in Gunjur, The Gambia.

Another astonishingly successful project headed by Mr Jallow that is concentrating on safely hatching and releasing Green Turtles. To the present date we are actively fundraising for this project and offering any support and advice we can.
